Exhibition Magazine - The new talents from fashion

@exhibitionmag highlights new talents with a series showcasing the work of 6 talented designers.
Today’s carousel focuses on Lauren Ruicci @LARUICCI’ s work.
Laruicci is a megawatt jewelry collection launched in 2009. All production is based in NYC and designed by Lauren Ruicci who refined her lifelong love of embellishment and adornment during the years she spent in Italy, where she studied Fashion Design and Art History at Accademia Italiana. She later received her masters degree in Fashion Design from Polimoda in Florence.
Upon her return to New York, Lauren began assisting Italian Vogue contributing editor & legendary stylist Patti Wilson. This exposure inspired Lauren to create her own collection of fasten-your-seatbelt statement jewelry under the name LARUICCI, comprised of tempting and glamorous necklaces, extravagant rings, and “try me if you dare” earrings.
Megawatt universe exploration in all freedom our process has to offer, mixing matching without limitations, contrasts between natural and technical.
A nightlife Ball that turns techno as the night goes on, but with the air of an era of elegant exclusiveness. Taking inspiration from a fantasy of the grand world, the smart world, the literary world, the artists, the dancers and the creative set surrounded by a dreamlike aura on the dance floor. Love never sleeps under wild lights, bathed in reflections and bursts of luminescent evening wear in crushed silks, technical taffetas and embroidered sequins in fire patterns, daily wear in sponge fabrics, patchwork multi colour denims and natural dyed cottons. A full wardrobe paired with exaggerated jewellery meet the dress code, and get you past the doorman setting you free inside, revealing what’s beneath the slashed cut outs, hidden slits, unzipping the diagonal zippers...
Mummified slashed and cut leather top paired with micro mini asymmetrical tornado skirt.
