Richie Rich x LARUICCI Collaboration

February 20, 2018 - Richie Rich’s 'Currency' collection sends off NYFW with a grand finale in collaboration with LARUICCI jewelry. The original Club Kid’s collection dazzles with the help of lavish jewelry. Staples from the nightlife of decades past shine as brightly as they did then and reinstate their glamorous, rightful place. Located in a pristine, white storefront between NOHO and SOHO; The Phluid Project hosted this hot and sweet Nightlife Runway Event. Models served up feathers, and fur, and opaque jewels, and glitter, and intricate, graphic make-up treatments, topped with layer upon layer of LARUICCI’s signature pieces. Crystalized disco balls and mixed metals, clear hoops and iridescent, candy-colored gems, micro-mini skirts and electric-pink lucite raged on, twisting and blending with Richie's FW18 Collection. On the energetic runway, colorful, disjointed patterns and materials clashed to mimic early 80’s nightlife turned bender. One particular model’s enthusiasm shines, as she slides across the floor like it’s the hood of White Snake’s car. Photographers and attendants follow the girl like a string of pearls snapping shots while sipping rosé. Richie’s nightlife repertoire coupled with LARUICCI’s penchant for all things gold melt together to set off an extravagant evening to remember.
