The new era of KATSEYE has begun!

There has never been a musical group like KATSEYE: a female and multicultural band with a storytelling that goes far beyond its millions of followers on social media. Their powerful looks—which also set trends—their fresh and fun lyrics, their vibrant pop sound with great production in each song, and their impressive choreographies, charged with a very special energy, are just some of the elements that explain why they have achieved success at record speed.
With two nominations for the Grammys 2026 (in the categories of Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance), two outstanding EPs—SIS (Soft Is Strong) (2024) and Beautiful Chaos (2025)—a transparent origin in The Debut: Dream Academy, which allowed us to get to know the most authentic and vulnerable side of each member, recognized campaigns with some of the biggest brands in the fashion and beauty world, a successful first world tour (The Beautiful Chaos Tour), and upcoming performances at some of the most important music festivals (Coachella, Lollapalooza in Argentina, Chile, and Brazil, and Governors Ball Music Festival), KATSEYE shows that its story is just beginning to be written and that we can expect exciting surprises in the band's future.
And yes, we know that Manon Bannerman is currently taking a break to take care of her health. In fact, when we did this photoshoot in December 2025, there was another member who was also not feeling well and, unfortunately, could not be present at the shooting: Megan Skiendiel. That's why, at Glamour, we consider it very important to amplify the message about the importance of prioritizing our well-being at all times, understanding that pausing when necessary is fundamental, and how much better if you have a network of female support to back you up in those moments!
Don't miss reading everything that Daniela Avanzini, Sophia Laforteza, Lara Raj, Manon Bannerman, Megan Meiyok Skiendiel and Jeong Yoon‑chae told us, exclusively, on February 13, about the new stage of KATSEYE, which is about to surprise us.

Megan, we hope you feel better; we'd love for you to share a special message for fans who would have loved to see you on this cover and video.
Megan: That's right, unfortunately I couldn't be part of this shoot or the videos, because I wasn't feeling well that day, but I hope we can soon do another cover or shooting for Glamour, which I can be a part of. I also hope all the EYEKONS can enjoy the photos with the five members.
Thank you, Megan. I think it's essential to prioritize our health and well-being, and I'm glad to see that KATSEYE is setting an example of this in 2026. Girls, could you share what you most enjoyed about your concerts in Mexico City last year and your visit to our country?
Manon: The energy, even before the show started, was too electric and incredible and that's why it was super fun to go out and present ourselves to them. Also, I feel that fans in Mexico are very loving, kind, and euphoric people. I remember we were backstage, getting ready to go on stage (we always put on music before going out), and people were singing very loudly and chanting, even before we went on stage. Thank you very much for having been with us.
Daniela: And I want to add that, since Mexico was the last show of our last tour, that concert was very emotional. Finishing in Mexico City was super special and we feel really lucky for that.
You'll be returning to Latin America very soon. What are you most excited about for your upcoming Lollapalooza performances in Argentina, Brazil, and Chile?
Daniela: We've never performed in those countries. We've only been to Mexico and Colombia, so it's always very fun to meet and see new EYEKONS.
For me, it's very special to connect with my Latin fans, and I always love speaking my native language. And, as I was saying, Latin Americans are very passionate, warm, and loving people, and that's something I always admire about my people, so I'm very excited to go back there.
We're very excited for you and hope to hear a new KATSEYE music project soon. Is there a genre, style, or collaboration you'd like to explore in the future?
All (at the same time and with excitement): Bad Bunny!
Lara: We'd love to work with Pharrell, to be able to produce with him. I think he would be the person we dream of collaborating with as a group; I feel we would make an incredible project.
Yoonchae: And new music, definitely, is coming, and I think it will be a reinvention, a new version of ourselves.
Each of you has an authentic and powerful style; even so, you always manage to make KATSEYE's outfits look unified as a group. Do you usually make fashion decisions together for special occasions, such as at the Grammys 2026?
Sophia: A large part of our creative direction in outfits and how we coordinate is that each one can be different, and that's great! It's incredible because our team has helped us a lot to find that perfect balance, allowing us to communicate the intention of each look. For example, for the Grammys, we all wanted to wear white, combining lace, leather, and a touch of sparkle for the carpet. With that clear intention, we simply reviewed the silhouettes that work best for each of us.
I also think our energy influences it, the way we behave, the kind of vibe we look for when we go on stage or step on the carpet or arrive at an event, which is more or less the same always. If we're feeling daring, we all get on the same page, and that's the energy we radiate and, somehow, it unites us all. So it's a lot of fun to add our individual styles and, at the same time, come together as KATSEYE.
We know that you love K-Beauty products and that you often share several steps of your beauty routine, but what would you say is the best beauty secret you have learned since joining KATSEYE?
Yoonchae: We wear a lot of makeup every day, so I think it's important to always remove it at night, clean the skin completely, leaving not a single drop of foundation. That's essential. And you also have to moisturize the skin. We love face masks, particularly eye and lip masks. We also have makeup-free days and we love it.
You are a global group with a very strong female presence. What has been the most valuable cultural lesson you have learned thanks to KATSEYE?
Sophia: I think it's truly beautiful that each of us comes from cultures so rich in their own communities, and many of our most important traditions are related to upbringing and that, in a way, also unites us. I mean, in our cultures, family gatherings and get-togethers are important.
I feel that every family has something like that within their culture. For example, in Asia, it's very important to eat together, to do things as a family. In India, there are big events, where huge gatherings are celebrated. And, as Danny says, many families gather on these occasions. These types of traditions reflect the greatness of culture, which is always very rich. And I think that's precisely one of the things that has strengthened us, that helps us to be more connected, because we do many activities together and with many people gathered. On the other hand, one of the things we enjoy most in our free time is watching TV series together.
Lara: I think culture and upbringing are things that shape you and make you special; that's what life and the world are about, you know what I mean?
We have so many different traditions, foods, and music; every aspect of life is expressed differently in each culture. And I feel that's what makes people unique from each other, but it's also something very beautiful to share with each other and to merge cultures.
I think that, as the world progresses, culture becomes more diluted. Especially for the six of us, it's very important to embrace our heritage and our roots—which we are proud of—in a way that feels authentic, cool, and current to us. For me, it simply couldn't be more important, because it's who you are and you can express it literally however you want: there are no rules, it's something of your own.
Not only do you stand out for your music, but also for the lyrics and incredible choreographies of your songs, and to achieve this it is fundamental to have a connection with your body and among you as a group. How do you manage to stay connected and balanced personally and professionally?
Daniela: I think rehearsing a lot is what mainly helps us stay synchronized. And also the fact that we have been training together for the last two years. We are already very used to how each one moves and to our spatial awareness, because when we started it was chaos. But now we are very used to it, and also, at one point we even lived together and I feel that really connected us.
I think it's very important to have that distinction: KATSEYE is a very, very big part of our lives, it takes up a large part of our time, but it's also fundamental, both physically and mentally, to have rest days, go out with friends outside of here, talk to family or simply go shopping or do something that distracts you. Because there are incredible things that come with this, but also, sometimes, they can be very long days.
Your name is like that of a precious stone, considered by many an amulet (the cat's eye). We are also curious to know if you have any lucky charm, a favorite number or color, or if you perform any kind of ritual before shows to feel even luckier.
Megan: my lucky number is 13, whenever it's Friday the 13th I do very well.
All: It's true, yesterday was Friday the 13th!
Megan: We've also turned it into a kind of ritual: every time we go on stage, we get close and take a moment to hug, hold hands, and connect. Yes, we've done it since the first show. We do it at all our shows. We've never had a single concert where we haven't taken a moment to come together.
Sophia: My favorite part and what I like the most is that I need to hug each member tightly.
Literally, sometimes we are in a very small space backstage and, even so, I stretch to make sure I hug each one. For me, that is something that centers me a lot, because it's like passing energy between us and saying: 'everything is fine, we are all here together and physically present'.
What message would you like to share with EYEKONS who seek to empower themselves and give more strength to their own voice?
Manon: First of all, know that anything is possible. Then, I would tell them to work hard, never take "no" for an answer when they're looking for "yes," and believe in their art. Having faith in oneself can take you very far, even if it takes time. If you truly want something, sooner or later it will happen.
If you could go back in time and give a message to your 'past self' before entering The Debut: Dream Academy, what would it be?
Lara: Keep your eyes on your goal, tune out the noise that might distract you from that objective, learn to distinguish what's truly important so you don't waste energy on the irrelevant. Focus on your passion and that will lead you to the full happiness of every day.
What is your own concept of glamour and how do you live it inside and outside of KATSEYE?
Manon: For me, glamour is a feeling you embody and often feel when entering a place where you feel happy.
Megan: It's inner confidence: loving everything about yourself, feeling super secure and comfortable with yourself, that's glamorous.
Daniela: I believe each person has their own definition of glamour and their unique way of feeling glamorous, which is part of their way of seeing the world. We all have a distinct aesthetic or perception of it, but we build it throughout our lives.
Sophia: For me, someone who is glamorous likes themselves, knows themselves, and expresses themselves fully wherever they go. It's the energy someone radiates and how they carry it within them.
Lara: Yes, anyone can be glamorous.
All: Yes, we are all glamorous.
How would you describe the current era KATSEYE is in?
Manon: Beginning!
Lara: Arrival. That's how I see it, we are arriving, in our introduction and flourishing at the same time.
Daniela: Tengo otra: ¡gametime!
Sophia: ¡Yo también tengo una! ¡Indomables!
Megan: Creo que estamos en una fase muy experimental.
Yoonchae: Sí, estamos floreciendo y mostrando una nueva versión de nosotras mismas.
