La musique explose dans la verrière de la Maison des Métallos, où le groupe Slut Magic se déchaîne en live. Il s’agit d’un groupe underground du quartier de Brooklyn à New York, se définissant comme punk indé, dark wave sexy et sarcastique. Ils adoptent un ton grinçant et nerveux qui reflète l’esprit de révolte et d’expression personnelle, en accord avec la vision de Laruicci.
The collection for next summer is the fruit of a profusion of ideas inspired by clubbing subcultures. The choice is varied, ranging from Barbie to the Countess, but always in a punk style. It features lace skirts paired with lace-up boots, hand-knitted short jumpsuits, mini-skirts worn with long and loose overcoats, bustiers and plaid shorts worn with jackets as long skirts, as well as large tartan coats for an emancipated châtelaine look.
Handmade items also play an important role, whether through knitted garments or stitching on denim. Jewelry is a central element of certain looks, such as large trousers belted at the hips with silver metal chains.
This collection was highly acclaimed and is the result of an excellent collaboration between founder Lauren Laruicci and stylist Cem Cynar.
